Live force-on-force training system establishes fire interaction rules of direct and guided weapon by adopting laser encoding technology. It simulates operational application of indirect weapon by mathematical modelling technology andbattle field results by acousto-optic smoke device. The elements of the system include individual, armored, anti-air, indirect, armed helicopters; surface burst weapons and non-fire operational units of our military and foreign military, thus an air-land engagement system is synthetically constructed.

Simulated training system reflects operational training of element and units below it by three-dimensional representation. And it can realize two functions, one is operated entirely by computers, another is access of semi-physical. Infantry element tactical simulated training system and the army element three-dimensional simulated artificial training system are all under the background of realistic battles and construct verisimilar simulated operation environment by three-dimensional artificial network communication technology to let soldiers experience the operation process. The army multi-weapon simulated training system realizes the functions of modular design and hybrid application by virtual reality technology and emulation technology. The system includes small arms, non-guided anti-tank weapon, anti-tank guided missile and anti-air fire weapon four groups of weapon which amount to sixteen types. Three-dimensional simulated training environment is created in time by computers. Verisimilar perspective sound effect is presented by large-screen projector system and audio system. Weapon simulator consistent to realistic equipment is adopted to realize training and assessment of equipment operation, battle coordination and force-on-force.
