The live force-on-force laser engagement system is a training system that provides a realistic battlefield environment for soldiers involved in training exercises. The system provides tactical engagement simulation for direct fire force-on-force training using eye safe laser “bullets”. Each individual and vehicle in the training exercise has a detection system to sense hits and perform casualty assessment. Laser transmitters are attached to each individual and vehicle weapon system and accurately replicate actual ranges and lethality of the specific weapon systems. MILES training has been proven to dramatically increase the combat readiness and fighting effectiveness of military forces.

By use of laser and data simulation technology, the system can replicate the effectiveness of various ground and air weapons for direct fire, indirect fire and explosion. And through the digital sensor and communication technology, the system is able to collect the information in the entire engagement process, and realistically build a combat environment through the acousto-optic smoke device. It is featured by its full range, lifelike simulation, data integrity and real-time guide and control.
