To enhance the Institute's ability to cope with risks and prevent accidents, the institute organized a comprehensive emergency drills with the theme of "Focusing on Fire Protection and Keep Safe" on November 22.

      The exercise lasted two hours and thirty minutes, including a theoretical training, evacuation drill and fire extinction practice. The exercise simulated the real fire, to test everyone's emergency response capability in sudden fire. 

      At 15:00, the comprehensive emergency drill started on time, and Room 2004 of research laboratory building on the second floor “caught fire”. The operator on duty in the control room received the smoke alarm signal instantly. After confirming with the department security guard about the fire, he called immediately to the emergency command center. The commander of the center immediately decided to launch an emergency response and mobilized all levels of emergency rescue organization to carry out a series of tasks such as personnel evacuation, firefighting and first aid of wounded people. Eventually, all people were successfully evacuated and danger was relieved after the tense and orderly emergency rescue.
